OKAY SO CRAZY STUFF HAPPENED THIS WEEK!

so first week here in Campos was a little rough. So im finishing the training or Elder Gomez! hes super cool and from spain and really determined to just turn all the bad missionaries into good ones! but he'll have to wait to turn his next comp into a good one cause im already super good HA! 

But lets get to the title! OKAy so thursday we were on our way to lunch and elder gomez told me that this Irma is a little strange and has a few problems and i jsut thought yeah okay thats fine everyone here has problems haha. so we get there and this Irma has a brace on her arm. we said hi then she went into the other room to yell at her daughter about something. she then came out and said sorry to us and asked elder gomez if had already told me about their daughter and her problems. which he DIDNT! then she came out of her room and stood in the kitchen and wouldnt even look at us! She then started yelling at her mom asking why we were there cause she hates the elders and whats nothing to do with the church and everything. Then the mom started talking about all the bad things her daughter has done like, gang stuff, devil worshipping, and that the day before she hit her and broke her wrist! so i was kinda feeling super strange in that house! then the mom started yelling at her to go back in her room cause nobody wanted her there so she yelled some mean things to her mom about her and us and went in her room! when she slammed the room to her door she started making a ton of noise and her mom wanted nothing to do with it! she ran in there and started yelling at her and tellin her to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop being such a terrible person! and then they started fighting like punch and screaming! then the other sister went in the and told them to stop and the first daughter screamed and said that she was gonna leave and never come back! So she ran out! then she came back with A GIANT FREAKING MACHETE!!!and ran into the room where the mom was and slammed they door! we heard screams and ran in! i thought i was gonna see blood everywhere and the mother dead! but we went in there and the machete was on the floor and everyone was laughing! the mom and daughter came up to me and said "welcome to Ala Campos elder!" they got me freaking good! it was all just a prank! they do it to all the missionaries!

okay so i also went to the hospital this week for some health problems that i have been having and will be going back on friday to get an ultrasound! i hope its a boy!

Us Brazilians ;) here in brazil got to hear from the Prophet and he talked about how the church truely brings happiness into our lives and thats what ive been sharing at our meals with members almost everyday! we need to realize that our spiritual happiness is way more important than the temporal things in our lives! REMEMBER FOCUS ON THE BETTER THINGS IN LIFE! Scriptures, Prayer, and MOST IMPORTANT FAMILY!
